Make It An Encouraging Culture

People are going to be a lot more likely to speak up and to communicate with one another if the working culture is generally an encouraging one, so this is one of the main things that you will want to bear in mind here. As long as you are doing this, it’s going to mean that you are much more likely to really be able to keep communication going strong. It’s about harbouring a non-judgemental approach that people will be able to respond to well. If you can do that, you’ll find it really makes a world of difference all in all.

People need to feel that they can be authentic. It's not that they're going to be the same way at work as they are in a bar, but you can be authentically you in different settings and still be yourself. 

Provide Tech

There are of course certain technological solutions that you can and should provide if you want to make sure that you are working on the communication across your business. If you can typify it and make it a known thing, you are going to find that you are much more likely to be able to really make a huge difference here, so it’s vital that you are thinking about that. Set the standard and you should find that people tend to follow suit much more easily than you think.

There is also an art to the response, and it’s one that you might want to make sure you are learning if you are keen on trying to improve the communication across your team in general. As long as you are able to do that, and you are responding appropriately, you should find that you can effectively help your employees to communicate a lot more openly and without shame. And that is one of the most important elements to all of this.
